Metabolic flux analysis modelling of Chinese Hamster Ovary cells


 

Metabolic flux analysis modeling for superior eukaryotic cells like mammalian cells is highly challenging due to the complexity of these organisms. In these organisms, the metabolic fluxes vary in function of multiple stimuli from their environment like the nutrient availability, signaling by growth factors, etc. Our group has chosen to focus on modeling the metabolic fluxes involved in the energy and the amino acid metabolism pathways.
